ENROLLMENT INFORMATION

The admissions process helps us determine the best placement and instructional program for your child.

Please complete these steps and contact us if you have questions. We look forward to working with you.

Admissions Procedures

Admissions Process Step-by-Step:

1.     ______ Initial Contact: After the initial phone contact, a PDF document will be sent to you via email which will be the Admissions Packet. Then you can meet with the Director and/or Clinical Director (BCBA) to tour our school, to learn about our services, and to share information about your child’s needs. If you have written medical, health care or other evaluations about your child please email/scan them prior to the meeting for the Administrative Team to review. For those considering placement in our weekday program, you will be asked to bring your child for a visit as part of an observation prior to the evaluation and placement testing.

2.     ______Application and Evaluation: Once fit for our program is confirmed, the assessment evaluation process begins.

At the time of the evaluation, when we can schedule it, full payment is required. *(Please refer to the Admissions Packet emailed to you for more information.)

3.     ______Other Records:

·       Psychological or psycho-educational evaluation – Please send us a psychological or psycho-educational report written by a licensed psychologist within the last year. If you do not have one, we may recommend, or even require, such testing before or after our evaluation/assessment.

·       Other testing – To develop a comprehensive treatment program, we sometimes need other information about your child, if so, the Director may refer you to another practitioner, such as a pediatric optometrist/ophthalmologist or neurologist for this additional information.
